Known for its beautiful foliage. The leaves are deep glossy green and the underside of the foliage is covered with woolly fur called indumentum. The indumentum starts out white as new foliage and then turns a beautiful cinnamon brown. Its large pink flowers and light pink centers offer a beautiful contrast to this early spring bloomer.
